My story
Why I started Bluegrass Home Co.
I've always believed that the way a home feels matters. Not showroom-perfect — cared for. The kind of clean you notice with your shoulders before you notice it with your eyes.
For years I cleaned homes for other people's companies, and I kept running into the same thing. The work got done. The checklist got checked. But nobody ever finished a house — nobody straightened the towels, or set the pillows right, or noticed that the family kept the good glasses in the cabinet by the window. A different person showed up every few weeks, and every few weeks the homeowner started over explaining.
I kept thinking: this is somebody's home. It should be treated like one.
So I started Bluegrass Home Co. — named for the place I'm from, with a sprig of bluegrass on the mark, because that felt right. It's just me. I keep a notebook for every house I clean, and I write down how you like things so you never have to say it twice. I'd rather do three homes beautifully than six quickly.
My kids go to school here. My neighbors are my clients. When I leave your house, my name is on it — and I want you to walk in and feel like something was taken off your plate, not just wiped down.

Not a rotating crew. The same face every visit, who learns how you like things and remembers.
Finished, not rushed
Rooms reset, details caught, a last walk-through before I lock up. I'd rather do fewer homes well.
Local, and accountable
I live here. If something's not right, you have my cell — and I'll come back and fix it.
The small stuff
Why there's a notebook.
Every home I work in gets its own notebook. Which products you prefer. Which door the dog can't be let out of. That you like the throw folded over the arm, not the back.
It's a small thing that solves the most annoying part of hiring a cleaner: having to explain yourself over and over to someone new. Tell me once. I'll write it down. That's the whole system.
Behind the scenes
I bring everything.
Products, cloths, vacuum, mop — it all rides with me. You don't need to stock anything or leave anything out.
The products are plant-based and low-fragrance by default, safe around kids and pets. If you have something you love, leave it on the counter and I'll use it instead. And if anyone in your house has a sensitivity, tell me and I'll adjust before I ever start.
